2 Corinthians 3:18 And we all, who with unveiled faces - TopicsExpress

2 Corinthians 3:18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. Unveiled faces reflects an intimacy with God; a desire to reflect and be transformed into His image. The Israelites were afraid when seeing Moses after he spoke with God because Moses face became radiant. This was so prominent that Moses would veil or cover his face whenever he was not in the Lords presence speaking with Him. The sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit is ever leading us toward the glory of the Lord. Jesus accomplished work on the cross tore the veil so that the Holy Spirit could make His home with us as we receive Him. Verse/Commentary courtesy of Verse-A-Day app. verse-a-day/Apps
