2 July 2013 – Daily Current Affairs 1) India’s first dedicated navigation satellite, the IRNSS-1A, developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), was successfully put in orbit on 1 July 2013. The 1,425-kg navigation satellite was sent through which launch vehicle of ISRO? – PSLV-C22 (The IRNSS-1A is the first of the proposed seven navigational satellites to be launched by ISRO and the acronym IRNSS stands for Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System.
