2 UNDERGRADUATE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS 1) The 2014 University of Maryland School of Public Health Summer Training and Research (STAR) Program is designed to provide traditionally under-represented undergraduate students with 2 consecutive summers of a 10-week research training and career development program to enhance their potential to apply for and complete graduate degrees in biomedical and behavioral science relevant to preventing and treating cardiovascular disease. 2) UM ADAPT: The Aging Diversity And Professional Training (UM ADAPT) Program provides underrepresented undergraduates with 2 yrs of research, ethics, and career development training. The overall aim is to increase diversity in individuals who choose careers in biomedical/behavioral research related to aging. The application form and required documents are attached.
