2 arrests at Campground Court: Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Parrott along with Senior Sgt. Greg Poynter and Deputy Andrew Lawson arrested 2 subjects on Campground Court, 8 miles south of London on Friday night May 2, 2014 at approximately 8:50 PM. The arrests occurred after deputies were dispatched to an intoxicated female in a subject’s apartment(complaint) who would not leave, and when deputies arrived at the scene they determined that a male subject there had allegedly grabbed his girlfriend by the arms leaving red marks on her arms. Arrested was David Gray age 58 Of Campground Rd. apartments, London charged with assault fourth degree – domestic violence. In addition, a female subject was arrested there when she attempted to flee from deputies. Deputies determined that she was under the influence – she advised she had been taking prescription medication that she was not prescribed. Arrested was Jamie Harris age 36 Of Combs Ave., Corbin charged with public intoxication - controlled substances. Both subjects were lodged in the Laurel County detention facility.
