2 different women, in two different cars, are on thier way home for the Holidays. Both get flat tires. The First Woman gets out and sees the tire. She drops to her knees and asks God for help. Within an hour, a car pulls up, and someone assists her. Seeings how God had helped her in this Crisis, the first woman thanked the helper, telling her shed been out there for an hour before the lord saw fit to deliver a saviour. The Helper just smiled and said I know what you mean. Id have been here 30 minutes sooner, But I had a flat myself, earlier. The First Woman was very Religous... She counted on the lord to help her with a problem. The OTHER woman was a woman of God. She counted on the Lord looking after her while SHE took care of the problems herself. There is a time to be on bended knee, but there is also a time to stand up, and take care of the things WE are able to do ourselves... the Lord has given us the tools, but WE need to pick the hammer up to get things going!
