2 working dogs (a GSD and a Belgian Malinois) who were assigned to guard Prince William were put down after he left his role as a Search and Rescue pilot in North Wales last week. Reasons cited for the killing of the two trained dogs was "too old to be deployed again" and "unsuitable to be rehomed." Really? We might be a GSD page but we have THOUSANDS of fans in the UK...we could have even transported to experienced working dog people who would have been glad to take them in!!
