2 years ago today, we were accepted as Isabels new family. She was about 7 and finishing up her hearworm treatments and admittedly we were a little unsure about adopting a Senior dog with health issues, but through the heart worm program through Friends of Jacksonville Animals, Inc. and her foster mom Summer Swindell we have had an amazing 2 years. She had been returned 3 times for being too calm. Well, those families missed out on a wonderful spirit. She has taught us that sweet does not mean innocent and she is her own person, but very loving. Happy Anniversary Isabel!
