20.8.2013 21:00 Launch requested by HM Coastguard Solent in response to 999 calls being received from casualty vessel being a 15 foot leisure fishing boat in Chichester harbour ( thought to be in the Mill Rythe Channel) There were 3 POB - no Flares, Lights of Lifejackets - Had VHF radio but were unable to operate. Crew assembled and briefed with updates by Phone from Solent, including casualty Mobile phone number. Lifeboat launched and made way to scene - put crewmember on board took under tow and returned to their mooring adjacent Northney Marina - Casualty crew left on board their vessel for them to take their tender back to their original launch point at the Ship Inn Langstone - where they were met by on scene coastguards. Lifeboat then stood down by Solent, returned to station and made ready for service
