20 bovines rescued, three arrested Excelsior Correspondent GHAGWAL, Jan 11: Ghagwal police arrested three persons and rescued 20 bovines from their possession. According to a police spokesperson, during the intervening night, three persons were arrested namely Babu son of Masser Din resident of Bishnah, Bhag Hussain son of Shamsh Din resident of Rakh Barotia and Ali son of Alam resident of Manchar Gopala, Samba while carrying bovines from Samba district to Kathua. A police team headed by SHO Ghagwal, Inspector Sanjay Chib who laid a naka at Bai Nallah arrested the bovine smugglers. All the three booked were under section 188 RPC at Police Station Ghagwal. This is the third attempt of Bovine smuggling foiled by Ghagwal Police within one week.
