20 years ago this month, Penn National Speedway held a Legends Night. As seen in this group photo, many of the legendary racers participated in a race, driving the Modified machinery of that year, 1994. Sadly, we have lost a few of these gentleman over the past two decades. Interesting to note that Kenny Brightbill was included in the legend photo, because he had already earned his status into that group. 20 years later and Kenny is still competing successfully at Kutztown PAs Action Track USA. And, how about Buzzie Reutimann? He recently won a feature in Florida and at 70+ years of age is still racing with much success. We can probably spend the next two months talking about the racers in this photo and I think we should. If you have any fond racing memories of these guys, and Im sure you do, please post them. This photo stresses the importance of having racing reunions. This pic could tell 1000 words or more. Such a classic moment in dirt track racing history. Thanks for the memories guys.
