200 Days of Modi Rule. A NDP analysis There is no doubt that Narendra Damodardas Modis tenure has yielded more favorable results than those which are of a negative nature. Here is an over view : - Positives 1. Streamlining of the bureaucracy. Well not complete but an honest attempt is being made. 2. The projection of India as a more harder state which has ridden on the backs of successful visits by Modi to Australia, USA, Asian summits and Japan. 3. Firming of ties with Nepal which is vital as a bulwark against an expansionist China . 4. Hardline approach against both China and Pakistan 5. Attraction of FDI 6.Sanskrit as third Language which was incidentally our agenda in the last election or so. We are happy it has been done 6. The Swacch Bharat Abhiyan. Hope it succeeds Negatives 1. Increased intolerance and inaction against sectarian rabble rousers like Sadhvi etal 2. Dilution of government role in education by allowing FDI in education 3. Increased role of monopolies like the Ambanis in industry 4. Tolerance of imcompetent BJP governments like the one in Chattisgarh We at NDP will not hesitate in applauding good work but shall be fiercely critical of any misdemeanor. or misadventure.
