2002 Honda CBR954RR 49,000m, $2,800, Trevor, WI Just North of Chicago, CLEAN Title. History: Im the second owner and I bought the bike in 2004 when it had ~7,000 miles on it. I used it for commuting, Sunday rides and the occasional trackday. For all of its life with me I had Ohlins suspension on it as well as different body work. The good body work that came with the bike was stored in my basement for ~10 years. In the summer of 2013 I lowsided the bike in the Bustop at Grattan Racetrack. So I had to replace the frame sliders with new ones and the track body work has been replaced with the good fairings. The only evidence from the lowside that remains is the side left side cover and some scratches on the upper fairing, all shown in the pics. Also, the suspension has been returned to stock for the sale. So the motor has high miles but the suspension and the fairings are all low miles. I religiously change the oil and bleed the brakes and the bike has treated me well. At the beginning of the summer the fuel pump stopped priming and I found that a wire in the harness had broken, so I replaced it, see the pic. Also, there is a broken tab on the front fender, lots of Hondas do this, it just seems like a bad design. I dont do wheelies, they scare me... Mods: 1. Braided front and back brake lines. 2. Orient Express Cam Chain Tensioner. 3. Scorpion carbon fiber slip on. 4. 520 chain conversion kit, down 1 tooth in the front and up 2 in the back. This makes the bike accelerate extremely hard and also makes the speedo and miles read high. 5. Tinted windscreen. 6. Color matched rear fender. 7. Carbon Fiber Tank Cover. 8. Assorted powder coated bits here and there. 9. Red painted wheels. Condition: Yes, it has some miles but the bike is clean and well taken care of. Ive seen many newer, lower mile bikes that look like they just crawled out of a well. This bike looks great! See the pics. Message me here for more info.
