2003s BEAT TOURNAMENT HOLDERS PGBC 2003s The 2003s were invited to take part in the Port Juniors tournament this weekend at Parklea, and the boys came out on top winning 2 of their 3 games, they played some lovely football against both Juniors side (White and Blue) and won both games well, unfortunately tiredness kicked in and although they continued to battle on they lost out to a strong Kilpatrick side. From goalkeeper Luke Cunningham pulling of fantastic saves right through to the boys up front it was a great team effort, the passing amongst the boys including Lewis, Owen, Conor, Joseph and Ryan was excellent and they seemed to adapt well to the grass parks which they are not used too, John James and Lucas worked hard and their confidence continues to improve all the time. Every boys effort should be praised as they were asked to work extra hard having to play more than usual in the hot weather, coaches are very happy with the weekend performance, parents were happy with the results and the boys done Port Glasgow Boys Club proud, well done guys.
