2004 Brick Team Update: The Connecticut Yankees defeated Team California, 3-1. Connor Welsh had a great game, with two goals and one assist. Welsh found the back of the net 3:51 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Connecticut Yankees and again at 11:28 into the third to make the score 2-1 Connecticut Yankees. Connecticut Yankees were led by goalie Katie Desa, who finished with 32 saves while allowing one goal. Team California was unable to stop Connecticut Yankees from sending pucks towards the net, and Connecticut Yankees eventually piled up 32 shots on goal. Connecticut Yankees also got a goal from Andon Cerbone. as well as assists from Tyler Guy, with two and Ryan Friedman and Kurt Gurkan, who each chipped in one. Keep up the great work!!
