2004 Neon SRT-4 up for sale, $4000 as it sits Located in Fort Riley, KS It was leaking from the main seal, after doing some measurements, come to the conclusion the crank is out of tolerance with the thrust bearing, but its hard to verify with the engine still in the car. Car DOES run, no knocking, scrapping, tapping, no metal shavings found when I pulled the oil pan. The crank will need to be replaced if it is that,(around $200 for one) or turned down, and obviously replaced all the bearings. That is all. Will need to be towed as the oil is drained from pulling the pan, and it leaks. I know someone that can tow locally, Ill cover it. I have extra parts sitting in my garage as well. Head, block (not sure if its still good), misc small engine parts, misc interior parts, 5th OEM wheel that will go with the car, and whatever else I find in my garage that Im not going to need. Ive had the car since 2007, it sat for awhile in FL since I couldnt get it shipped up here, then sat for a year while I was deployed. It does need paint, it wasnt a priority for me since I track the car in SCCA events, and hitting cones was a weekend thing. So if you want a shiny black car, sorry. No rust under the car (never driven in snow), This was the first summer its been driven in KS at all. Battery replaced in April, water pump replaced in April, tints redone in July. Timing belt, oil pump, all seals & gaskets replaced in July of 2013 right before I deployed, and sat till April of 2014. I may be forgetting some small things. Please contact me with any questions. The custom tune to run the larger inj was taken off the PCM. Has no wideband or boost gauge, still has the o2 sensor in the exhaust for the wideband.
