2013.07.30 NEWSLETTER NO. 12 Dear Parents, PARENT INFORMATION MEETING Parents are invited to attend an Assessment Information meeting for the 3rd term. Date - Saturday, 3rd August 2013 Time - 08h30 Venue - School Hall MATHEMATICS AND ENGLISH SATURDAY CLASSES – GRADE 3 – GRADE 6 The school will be running Saturday classes to assist our learners with Maths and English and also will be preparing them for Annual National Assessment. Parents are then requested to sign a reply slip and return it to school with your child tomorrow. N.B. Lessons will start at 09h00 – 12h30 every Saturday until the end of the term. SCHOOL FEES We thank all parents who have consistently honoured their obligation to pay fees, however there are still those parents who have not paid their fees consistently or not paid at all. You are therefore requested to pay on a monthly basis up to the end of October 2013. N.B. No fee arrangements will be entertained at the end of the school year as the assumption would be that all fees are paid up. TOUR TO MPUMALANGA The above mentioned tour has been cancelled as parents did not show interest in the activity. There are only 20 learners who paid a deposit which was a poor turnout. N.B. Parents who paid the deposit must contact the school for either a refund or give permission to the school to transfer the money into their school fee account. Parents must contact Mrs. Blignaut. FUN DAY – 19TH SEPTEMBER 2013 The school will be hosting a fun day at the end of the term. Parents are urged to pay R50,00 for the activity. N.B. Money must be collected before the 18th September. CROSS COUNTRY FIXTURE All the cross country events will be run at Gilooly’s Farm on the following dates: Central Cluster League 1 - 31st July 2013 League 2 - 7th August 2013 League 3 - 14th August 2013 District - 22nd August 2013 LIFTING SERVICE Please contact me should you need your child/children to be collected from school on a daily basis.
