2013 National Specialty, Tucson, AZ, November 14, 2013 Soon you will be receiving the premium list for the 2013 National Specialty. Our show secretary for the Specialty (Thursday, November 14, 2013) is Leslie Carle. Please read the instructions in the premium, as the entries will not be received by one of the regular superintendents. The supported entries that will follow the Specialty (Friday – Monday, November 15-18, 2013) will use Jack Bradshaw as the Superintendent and entries for those shows will be handled separately. Again, pay close attention to the separate premiums and entry instructions. We all know it is still early and everyone likes to wait until the last moment. So, here are further updates: Shirts: One exciting change from the form that is happening is you can order a sweatshirt as well. The cost of the sweatshirt will be the same as the cost of the long-sleeved t-shirt ($26). Sweatshirts will only be in heather grey. If you are interested, please contact our show chairs: Albert and Paula [email protected]. Banquet: Let’s all get our banquet forms in. It should be a great time right there at the host hotel. So there will be no worries about driving afterwards. Auction: Loralee is planning on having a live auction as well as other items for a silent auction. One of the main items will be a quilt. If anyone is bringing an item for the auctions please let Loralee know as soon as possible so she can plan. Her email is lomakennels@hotmail But no matter what we can always use more. Lunch: Reservations still being accepted. The Judge’s Seminar will be Thursday evening, November 14, 2013 at the host hotel. Debi Grunnah will be giving the seminar and will need your help. Information to go on the website and in the next issue of the Times. To all exhibitors, this is only successful if there are dogs present for exam for the judges. Please consider volunteering you time for the seminar. Most people find it to be educational and rewarding. Contact myself at [email protected] if you think you can attend. Catalog advertising will be available. Please see form on the ASDCA website or contact Al and Paula. A full page advertisement costs $25. Our show chairs are ready to help you if you would like to showcase your dog, kennel or breeding program. The catalog will be available for purchase on the day of the Specialty. Anyone not purchasing a catalog at the show, can request one through our show chairs. Please check asdca.org for more updates. Just look for the Anatolian Shepherd Dog Club of America.
