Jesus says: Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. (Matthew 5:5) The Psalmist also makes clear of Gods favor upon the meek. The meek will [God] guide in judgment: and the meek will [God] teach his way. – Psalm 25: 9 (King James Version) Lord, Your teachings and promises are my comfort.
