2014-9341-401(A). 08-17-2014 Clack. Co. lost dog f MVA: Sammy is a brown Chihuahua-Dachshund mix. When Shalene was alive, her father says the two of them were inseparable. That dog was always with [Shalene], said her father, Rocye Mayo.Since the accident, Sammy has been spotted near the crash scene. Mayo says it would mean the world to them and Shalene to find Sammy. Im sure right now [Shalene] is freaking out because her dogs out there running around. I would appreciate whatever people can do. I know theyve seen the dog up there. Shalenes brother, 31-year-old Brandon Mayo, also died in the crash. Brandons dog, Rosie, was badly injured. She was taken to a veterinary clinic in Clackamas. The remaining bills are still high. Brandons widow cant afford to pay them because she is expecting a baby. Twenty-year-old Jesse Jasso-Varsamas, and 39-year-old Suzanne Marie Varsamas were also killed in the crash.
