2014 AD - Update on my beloved Alice. Two years ago she had quad by-pass heart surgery. A week later she had a stroke. She spent 4 months in skilled nursing care. January 20, 2013 I brought her home, and it is my high privilege to be her caregiver. She is a loving joy to be with. Most of the time its just her and me each day. The stroke took its toll on her memory, many of her former abilities. She often frets, remembering things she can no longer do. But, I tell her God has given her ways to bless others (and me too) - like when I put her singing on FB. And like when we pray and I read the Bible with her. Her sweet smile when I do some small thing for her - blesses me. Her testimony of trust in our blessed Lord Jesus in this time of trial. You see it, know it - that praising Him when all is well is easy - obviously. But, you know this too (some of you know it firsthand) - Jesus is especially honored when in serious suffering tests and trials we glorify Him. We see it in the dear Iraqi Jesus people who glorify Him in the face of their bloody beheading and crucifixion done by evil false-god Islam worshipers. Shame on us when we pity self over some silly setback. No wonder we are often stressed, depressed - its our self-loving guilty conscience - because we fail to love, live, give our all to our blessed Savior King Jesus. God is enabling and supplying, so Im able to keep my little BibleLine Radio (BibleLine.net) ministry going out - by radio and internet - to teach, preach, touch, reach all we can - more, more about Jesus. Some of you minister with me in that. Again, I thank you. I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, for your fellowship in Gods Good News. Its why were all on the planet. You who love and care and pray for my beloved Alice - I thank you. Prayer is our most vital help - for God is our Help. We are deeply grateful to you, and to God for you. Believe it. Keep on looking upUpUP to Jesus. Hes Coming - all who love Him - are Going Home to Heaven - forever. Count on it!
