2014 AUSTRALIAN UNIVERSITY GAMES This year Sydney is playing host to the AUGs from Monday 29th Sept - Fri 3rd Oct. We have a full contingent of Syndey uni students representing SUVelo as well as a few clubmates riding for other universities. In the mens team we have Jason Hotten, Rhys J. OShea, Ben Chegwyn, Damian Poole, Jesse Thompson and Malcolm Ramsay, and in the womens team we have Gina Ricardo Ella Scanlan-Bloor, Givanna Haryono, Imogen Hines, Emily Kempson and Rosie Stewart. The 2014 AUGs should be a great week of racing as the team attempts to back up last years clean sweep in the mens, womens and overall point score pennants. Good luck also to Lions, Stephanie Lord (UNSW) and Tegan Cox (Melb) racing this week! Well keep you posted on how the races pan out. Monday will be the road race, Tues the individual time trial, Wed the team time trail (all out at Penrith Regatta Centre) and on Friday the crit will be at Lansdowne Park. Everyone is also more than welcome to come down to Penrith or Lansdowne to support the team and Sydney Uni.
