2014 CO Corn Silage Harvest is in the books! Ok, well, almost...there are still a few stragglers out there thanks to Mother Nature and a few ill-timed days of rain; but, as a whole we are DONE! It has been a long, intense 35+ days and I would like to recognize some (obviously not ALL) of the Faces of Harvest. Individuals who worked long , hard hours, sacrificed time with their loved ones, and gave up fun time so that we could get this years crop in the pits for the cows. Sure, there were some uncivilized words said when machinery and Mother Nature threw us some curve balls, some lunch lady melt downs (Rhonda Jagow Cleland), and yes, one wardrobe malfunction due to lack of sleep; but, everyone pulled together, buckled down, and did their jobs with a smile, a few shenanigans here and there, and of course safely! Great job everyone! The cows THANK YOU!!
