We got the red model as a gift for our first child, and got the beige one for our second child and love this seat. Its portable, pretty easy to wash, I clean it with a cloth, but if more is needed, you can hose it down with no worries, since it dries out well. The adjustable height is the thing we like the most, since we have these sitting on metal chairs so that the dining table chairs dont get ruined. The fact that you can take them with you places is also a good thing. The dishwasher safe tray we dont use it, since our toddler tears it off the other tray since very early. She is very strong and baby boy is also showing signs to be that strong as well, so we will probably not use it as much either. Our daughter is now 2, and we often put her on the table without the tray. She knows how to get up on the seat and buckle up herself, which we do when we do crafts and paints on the table. We might eventually get the back rest out and use it without the tray soon.I love this booster! So far it has lasted very well through two kids and is in great condition. I recommend this to anyone - it is sturdy and secure and I have been using for both of my kids from 5 months and up - no big high chair necessary, this one did the trick perfectly!My 6 month old is a cranky eater (we cant feed her fast enough) so we didnt think much of her crying tonight at supper, though she was crying harder than usual. When we started to remove the lap tray we noticed she had jammed two of her fingers between the tray and the washable insert - they were swollen and I could tell she had lost feeling in them, she also had serious indentations in her fingers that were already turning blue. She was hysterical when I got her out, presumably because the feeling started coming back in her fingers. I felt AWFUL. This happened because the insert only secures to the tray in one spot and she happened to wedge her fingers in right by that spot. If it secured in more than one place, this wouldnt have happened.I will simply toss the insert to remedy the problem but I dont want any other Littles to go through this!These are great high-chairs. Theyre adjustable, have the multi-purpose tray, and attach to just about any seat. It does collapse relatively well, but we dont use it for restaurants or travel because its still pretty bulky.
