2014 Giant Propel Advanced SL Frameset, built with SRAM Force22 - TopicsExpress

2014 Giant Propel Advanced SL Frameset, built with SRAM Force22 Size Small. $4800. New this frameset alone would set you back $3900+tax. Weight as built 15.6lbs with 50mm Carbon Clincher wheels and Stages Power Meter and Speedplay pedals (PM and Pedals not included in price). Very light for an Aero frame, and also very stiff BB. Kittel doesnt flex it, you wont either. Other key components – Giant Carbon Aero bar, specialized s-works turbo tires, specialized 110MM stem, ritchey saddle and specialized bottle cages. The brakes have also been upgraded from stock. They are not the brakes that get complaints in many of the older reviews of this bike. They are dramatically better and allow for much more adjustability for different width rims – very much like the custom versions the Giant Pro team uses. The old ones slowed you down; these will actually stop the bike. Gearing is a standard 53/39 in the front, with an 11-26 in the rear for a very wide gear range. The bike has very low miles. It’s practically new, as I got this bike well into the season. No blemishes or scratches anywhere on the frame. Not even any visible chain slap marks on the chainstay Geometry is available at Giants web site (giant-bicycles/en-us/bikes/model/propel.advanced.sl.frameset/18721/76263/#geometry). The seat mast was cut to support 30 inseam, with a toe down pedal stroke. From the top of the pedal axle to the top of the saddle is just shy of 85.5 CM. Seat spacers are included and can be used to raise the saddle a good bit. Of course, the seat mast can be further cut to accommodate a shorter rider if needed The stem can move up or down around a CM in either direction from what is shown. I have some other stem options available if needed. Happy to answer any questions you have or provide other pictures if needed Atlanta, GA contact here: gtgilbert@gmail
