2014 TKU Art Contest Week - Please read for instructions. A year ago at this time, the TKU was just passing the 500 member mark and here we are at 2000+ strong. This week will be a week of different things happening besides celebrating our 2000 members, including the announcement of a new administrator. But to start off the week, the admins would like have an art contest for the group since many of the members are artists themselves or just like to have fun drawing and painting Godzilla and different kaiju of the genre. The art contest will be in 4 categories, with Drawing, Painting/Canvas and Digital Art being the 3 mediums that you can choose to enter in. And to make it fair for everyone, we will put the Professionals into their own contest to be judge. Each category will have its own album that you can put your art in and then the judging will be by both the admins and members by the most likes an artwork gets. The winner of each category/album will then get a chance to go against the other 2 categories next week. We are also talking about prizes; one that I will be providing is a 2 DVD set of Gareth Edwards’ Monsters which might be the grand prize.
