2014: What a long, strange trip its been. Like many of you in 2014, I made new friends, became closer to old friends and even let go of those posing as friends but were not. Last year at this time I had a great job and enjoyed the opportunity to work with some great people. Unfortunately, I also worked with two individuals that had the ability to suck the creative juices and passion out of my work. I can now go on realizing that every coin we earn has two sides, a good side and a bad. While these two individuals were a constant pain to me and sometimes even my family, Im reminded of all the great people I worked with and learned so much from. I learned from success and from failure, where to put my creative energy and where to let go. Investing into my passions, letting go of the things that frustrate me. 2014 was not another brick in the wall but rather a step closer in becoming who I truly am. Thanking God for family and friends who were there during the good times and the bad, letting go of the selfish, manipulative, lying, and destructive relationships. 2014 like any year was a year of letting go, holding on and holding harder. 2015 will be a year of new things for me and my family. Some of those changes, you may not like. Feel free to Un-Friend me. I change not to please or impress anyone, I do so to evolve into a better person. In the coming weeks Ill be announcing my new endeavor, back into the model railroad world which could not have been possible had it not been for the loving help I received from Angela Murphy Haynes. I am a very fortunate man to have her in my life and so glad that I did not sacrifice our permanent relationship on the alter of what was to become a temporary career. I hope all who read this will have a happy New Year and embrace change, not fear it. ~ And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make. ~ Sir James Paul McCartney.
