2014 YEAR IN REVIEW + Took a cool vacation to the other side of the planet to see Aimee and uncle Michael and Peter and Sophie and Dan, plus Elisabeth and Lara and Caitlin. Everybody was really nice and there were some far out trees and things. Ate some totally unbelievable chicken and waffles and got day drunk with some Swedish metal dudes. THANKS GUYS! Ill be back + I got a small raise and therefore solidified my place in the lower middle class, huzzah. Got a cool new office with windows. + Lots of other cool family time, this includes everybody but maybe the highlight of it all was hanging out with April without a dozen other people around, which seldom happens + NEW FRIEND ROUNDUP: CHEERS to Pauline (whom we will miss dearly), plus of course Maureen and Anastasia who are super cool. I didnt meet Megan this year but we got a lot better acquainted. Hayley and I are pals now, Silverdoor Wunderkammen and I got along like a house on fire, plus Suzy and Joshua welcome to the fam, new pals make the world go round + Played a lot of cool shows with Animal Hospital Ensemble. Too many people to tag here, but rest assured this is fun as hell and Im going to play another one in a few minutes. This involved some stargazing at William and Courtneys house, and that was excellent. Hi guys + Best shows I went to: Probably both Major Stars shows, Drunk Dad at OBriens, obviously every time I saw Fat Creeps or Gracie solo. Beware the Dangers of a Ghost Scorpion! as wedding band, WOW. Oh and those ladies in Pawtucket with a kiddie pool full of electrodes and goldfish, that was something too + Reclaimed my chin by removing beard + Starting hanging out at the Y listening to Black Sabbath while pumping iron with the SPD -/+ Suffered a couple existential crises, sleepless nights, creeping self-doubt and absence of confidence, got my ass in gear when necessary, mostly. Some humdrum aspects of my existence persist. People who listen to me complain a lot know what Im on about here + the COOL KIDS CLUB continues to exist, thank God if you believe in God + Nate scored me an unbelievable bottle of absinthe in time for a killer birthday party featuring a big sandwich, some passing out in my bed, and about a zillion friends and a couple very confused total strangers, and cake + 2015: More discipline, more practicing compassion for people who need it, more double dares and blasting through the boundaries, less listening to anybodys bullshit and more getting in their face. STAKES IS HIGH IN 15, DONT LETS CHICKEN OUT EVERYBODY, BREAK DOWN THE WALLS, MUERTE PARA LOS ENEMIGOS DEL PUEBLO
