2014 has been a whirlwind of changes. It started with quitting a wonderful job to begin a premed program and eventually a new career. Along the way, many things have happened. Ive made some amazing new friends and classmates; met, fell in love with, and parted ways with extraordinary individual who has forever changed me; quadrupled my student debt; and taken my living grandparent tally from 3 to 1. So, 2015, I am a bit gun shy of your presence, and I honestly thought we would never meet. However, I can say that I look forward to finishing up classes at AU, kicking the MCATs ass, renewing friendships, finding a medical school environment where I can thrive, and, if time allows, opening my heart up to love again. This year will be another series of changes that may kick my ass, but, if Chumba Wumba taught me anything, its that I WILL get up again. So, as the lovely poet K. Dunst once said, Bring it on!
