2014 is in the books and man was it a great year for me and my family. Calvin is 2 years old and will be a big brother in just about 6 weeks. I experienced tremendous success with work and coaching, and hit some huge milestones in my own personal athletic achievements along the way. I won my age group at an Ironman 70.3 event for the first time, I went sub 9:30 in Kona for the first time, which ranked me as one of the top age group Americans in the country, and I am ranked the #1 triathlete in New Hampshire for my age group for the 2nd year in a row. I am so blessed to be able to do what I love everyday. It would not have been possible or nearly as enjoyable without my amazing wife, Kristen Cook! Here is a look back at my training volume in 2014: Swim: Just over 251 miles Bike: 5,216 miles Run: 1122 miles Total hours: Just over 550 hours or just under 23 days. I am very excited to bring on 2015! I hope has an amazing year coming their way! :)
