2014 was the wildest ride of my life. It began at my Luxury Czar Steven Langes seaside villa on Monterey Bay. Life as I knew it collapsed a few months later, and I moved from California to Manhattan, making a cross country trip which included a stop at the Grand Canyon and my first visit to Detroit. Trying to recover in NYC was wildly ambitious, and I was in a near-comatose state much of the time I was there, although I did spend a lot of quality time with family, and attended a few sensational parties. I was offered a great job in Philadelphia, and was prepared to jump on it but had an epiphany that I needed to downshift and finish my book, so I came to St. Louis and did just that. There hasnt been a dull moment in St. Louis. Ive been the target of hate mail, multiple lawsuit threats, and was on the streets of Ferguson when everything erupted. Ive also done some of my best writing. I begin 2015 feeling much more confident and sure of myself than a year ago, and Im excited about what the year will bring.
