2014, what can I say about you? I made it through the year in Chicago, worked my tail off at a ton of different Starbucks to be approved for my interview, worked with three amazing Store Managers that helped developed and honed in on my skill sets, helped push a non-profit off the ground that I am very much passionate about (New World Conservatory) allowing me to be involved heavily in music education once again, made some new friends, met some cool people, had my father come visit for my Birthday again,said farewell to my longtime furry bear dog (RIP Calypso), watched Tom fly through his first half of his second year of law school, enjoyed watching friends celebrating their lives through marriage, and most of all, still have a loving fiancé that I get to come home to every day, regardless of our crazy schedules (with two adorable Beagle Doges). Not saying 2014 was perfect, but it had its ups and downs. Im mostly focusing on the ups. 2015 hasnt even happened yet and its already going to be a good one. So much stuff is planned in January. Maybe this was the launch forward from the pull back Ive been working so hard for. Resolutions? Be passionate, be productive, be proud. Find my inner happiness. Be true to myself. Life is happening now and I need to be a part of it. It waits for no man.
