Classes will be on Sunday afternoons at a time to be determined by the participants and will last 2 to 4 hours each. The classes will take place primarily in Wichita, but will also travel to Santa Fe Lake and Camp Horizon (east of Arkansas City). Because many of the activities will take place outside and the weather in early spring is unpredictable, there are make-up weekends sprinkled in the schedule if we need to move an activity. The adventure racing training program fee is $150.00 and includes all classroom materials, maps, “The Adventure Racers Guide to Land Navigation” book and canoe rental. Purchase of required racing gear as well as race entry fees are the student’s responsibility. Schedule Jan 4 Introduction Jan 11 Navigation Jan 18 Navigation Jan 25 No class Feb 1 Navigation.
