2015: Buhari to unseat Fayose when Elected By Shaibu Stephen Ojate Few days to the Presidential election, members of All Progressive Congress have muted plan to unseat the Governor of Ekiti state, Ayo Fayose if Muhammadu Buhari wins the February pool. Eagle Reporters gathered that the plan to unseat Ekiti Governor was because of constitutional matter. It was added that by his impeachment in his first tenure in the state, Ayo Fayose has not fulfilled ten year mandatory constitutional requirement of any one impeached before standing for any election. Presently, Governor Fayose eligibility for the recent election in the state is being contested by not less than 10 legal luminaries which comprised good numbers of Senior Advocate of Nigeria. Impeachable source who spoke to our Reporter in confidence said, having General Muhammadu Buhari, a nonsense man as President of Nigeria would give All Progressive Congress amble opportunity to influence judiciary to oust Ayo Fayose as Ekiti Governor. By the calculation, the defeated Ekiti Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi who came second in recent Ekiti State election would be made the Governor of the state. Also, as All Progressive Congress party hierarchy plans to share political positions in the country, source said the current Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola would likely be made federal capital territory Minister if Buhari emerged as President of Nigeria in February election.
