2015 IMO GUBER: Ihedioha appoints Chris Okewulonu as Director General of his Campaign Organisation. The Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha has appointed Barr. Chris Okewulonu as Director General (DG) of his 2015 Governorship Campaign Organisation. A statement signed by the media assistant to the Deputy Speaker, Mr. Chibuike Onyeukwu said, Barr. Okewulonu, a former Secretary to the Government of Imo State and immediate past Federal Commissioner representing the South East in the Fiscal Responsibilities Commissioner, hails from Avutu in Obowo LGA. Barr. Okewulonu, a former member of Imo State House of Assembly, an astute administrator, has also held several other government positions including; former Executive Assistant (Political) to Governor Achike Udenwa, former Commissioner for Works, former Commissioner for Information and served as head of several government delegations and committees including Chairman of Heartland Football Club of Owerri. He was also the Imo State Coordinator of Jonathan/Sambo Campaign Organisation in 2011 among others. The Deputy Speaker believes that Barr. Okwulonu’s track record of service, experience, goodwill and sagacity will enhance and indeed be of great value as he prosecutes, diligently his quest to reclaim and restore the dignity of our dear Imo State come 2015. The Deputy Speaker wishes the Director General, all the very best in this all important assignment.
