2015: Imoke Begins Consultation, Set To Inaugurate PDP Elders Caucuses By: CrossRiverWatch Admin Tomorrow, Governor Liyel Imoke and members of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party. PDP will move the machinery of the party and government to the Northern Senatorial District of the state to inaugurate caucus members of the Party. The inauguration according to investigation by CrossRiverWach is not unconnected to the zoning of governorship candidate of the party to the nothern senatorial district and how to come up with an acceptable candidate. The Governor according to a competent source will have private meetings with the traditional rulers, elders and the party caucus Leaders at the Presidential Villa of Obudu Mountain Resort after the inauguration of the caucus leaders in Ogoja. The private meeting is slated for 11pm on Thursday and the convener is the governor while the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Mike Aniah is empowered to mobilize for the meeting while other cabinet members from the northern part of the state were charged to sell the motive of the meeting to their traditional rulers and elders. According to the itinary, the state chief executive will on Friday use the opportunity to inspect various ongoing rural road projects in the Northern and Central parts of Cross River State. “His Excellency is expected to come for the inauguration of PDP caucus leaders in the Northern Senatorial district tomorrow Thursday 12th March 2014 and we are all expecting him because he will hold meetings with us and hopefully brief us on the direction he would like the 2015 governorship to go in consultation with the elders.” the source said.
