2015 is more of a resolve to have the central government under the leadership of a sensible human being. But the question we ought to honestly ask ourselves, even though the answers may be unsettling, are: can the opposition oust the incumbent in this period running up to the 16th anniversary of this chaos we call democracy? Or, let me say, with a mischievous tone, are the actual majority off Twitter and Facebook set to form a structure to resist the tools of stomach infrastructure on the way to their houses as the Election Day draws near? Lets discuss this after next years Val Day. Ive compromised on some principles, but compromising on the continuation of a government as tragic as Jonathans is something I cant afford. I disapprove of this central government. And by the way, that I dont like Jonathan doesnt mean I hate PDP. I believe there are some absolutely great minds in PDP, the same way I see pretenders mingling with the great minds in APC. Which is why Ill be casting vote for some PDP candidates running for some offices in 2015. In fact, an older friend of mine whos won the ticket to represent his people at the House of Reps under the PDP platform is here promoting the interests of APC in his quest to see Jonathan gone. Such anti-party rebellion was inspired by an effect of genuine patriotism, his conscience, something partisan sentiments couldnt dilute. But Im not against his party membership. We shouldnt pray for a PDP of fully allied like-minds - which is almost what we got when the Kwankwasos left. Some days I wished the Kwankwasos stayed back to rescue the party, but the positive side is, their defection led to the formation of the strongest opposition party in Nigeria since 99. 2015, may you be bloodless!
