20yrs on this Grind....as the young folk would say. 1994, 29yrs old, 3 kids to feed and its only me. Never thought I would make it one week let alone 20yrs. You see the cold and I never got along, plus the only raw chicken I dealt with was the one I was getting ready to fry. My first Supervisor asked me if I could fold wings, I tried it and went to her and said I couldnt do it. She then had me try tucking the drums, well I went back to her and told her I couldnt do that either. She looked at me and said, do you think you can makes some boxes and before even trying it I said, now I know I can do that. We both started laughing. Im not saying these 20 have been peaches and cream, but the good has out weighed the bad. And I wont complain. Some things were first experiences for me and I have made lasting friendships. So today I celebrate because God has truly blessed me with a job that has provided for my family, and did I mention where I semi met my Husband of nearly 15 yrs. So was this the job for me? I believe God gave it to me, so with that being said... Happy 20 Anniversary to me! # Tyson Foods
