21/01/2014 DAILY SPRING: TOPIC: THE NECESSITY OF PERSEVERANCE TEXT:1SAM.30:1-19 Every activities of man are viewed from two perspectives, neither as a problem or solution. Same with everything that is created, it is created twice. Firstly, it will be created mentally and physically and that is vision. David was a man of vision; who sees solution not a problem and he has a mental picture of himself as a King. David has been anointed as a King but the situation that surrounds his life were too hazardous to enable him ascend the throne. He was in Ziklag with his family and followers, when suddenly the city was attacked and burnt down. His wives, other women and children were taken captives by the enemies; it was a distress situation and the Bible recorded that the people were confused and about to stone hm. However, in the midst of this confusion, David persevered and chose to encourage himself in the Lord. Beloved, it is difficult for people to develop perseverance when they lack sense of purpose. Conversely, when one has sense of purpose, energy rises, obstacles becomes incidental and perseverance wins out. Your emergence here on earth, salvation and calling is for a purpose; hence, God cannot compromise that purpose. David pursued the enemies and recovered all. Today, you shall rise with a new vigor; the Lord shall give you the grace to persevere and recover everything the enemies have stolen from your life. Be willing to move to the next level and the God of all comforts shall help you to accomplish it. BE ENCOURAGED IN THE LORD! PRAYER: Psa 7:6 Arise, O LORD, in thy anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of my enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.
