Then when he says thou hath increased the Nation it is a direct reference to the U.S. of America. “In trouble have they visited thee” is the people of the LORD coming to HIM inwardly and much prayer. “When chastening was upon them” is the clue in that “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent” The body of CHRIST—HIS believers!!! The chastisement is equated here and related to the pain of a woman about to bring forth a child for a specific reason-for our nation was built upon the freedom to worship the LORD GOD! Lord GOD ALMIGHTY has us in one Nation as the JEWS were; we are the Gentiles which have now the SON OF GOD! “And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moonunder her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered” “And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.” THE WORSHIP UNTO JESUS our LORD AND KING
