21 years ago today, Ryan Sanders, you were my miracle baby. Although the 5 week and 1 day ordeal of total bed rest and birthing you were not easy, full of unknowns and fears, and more than I could stand at moments, it was a time filled with Gods blessings and invaluable lessons on learning to wait on Him. Isaiah 40:31 was my strong hold and promise for 36 long and hard days. You were born a fighter, and the instant I looked into your eyes, I knew you had a very special purpose in this world. I may have given you life on this day 21 years ago, but you are, and will continue to be, the one who gives me blessings in my life today and forever. I believe with all of my heart that you will continue to make the world a better and brighter place to live simply by being you, make incredible contributions for all, and persevere no matter what is thrown in your path....just like when you were born and have shown throughout your lifetime. I cant wait to see Gods plan unfold for you, because I know what He promises in Isaiah 40:31. Thanks for making my dream of being a mom come true and for teaching me how to love unconditionally, laugh and look at things not so seriously, and how to persevere and fight hard for things worth fighting for. But most importantly, thanks for teaching me how to wait upon the Lord and His timing and plan for my life because the gift of Ryan Craig Sanders was well worth my wait and the fight for you 21 years ago. Never give up on your dreams either. While the road may be hard, the prize awaiting you will be well worth your wait too. Happy 21st bday my Ry Ry! I love you more than you will ever know.
