23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:23-25. Life is not easy and no matter how well grounded in your faith you are there will always be sin in your life. We are humans not Gods and we are foulable. That is why Paul reminds us to gather together as believers. To spur eachother on to lift up one another and help our brothers and sister remenber that we are loved. I know because I have been lifted up time and time again by my brothers and sisters in Christ. When we are seperated from the body of Christ we are attecked, lied to, and brought down by satan and him army. In Ecclesiastes 4:12 it says that one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not easily broken. Here lately there has been several trials and failures in my soiritual life, but God knowing this was going to happen put special people in my life. One in particular set me down and spoke words of love to me. Not his words but Gods word. He reminded me of who I am and what I have and what I need to do to correct the situation. As he spoke to me I saw tears run down his face and I knew everything he said was not only coming from his heart but were words that Gods Holy Spirit was giving him to speak to me. See this is the defence that Paul speaks of. At that point and time I remembered that this man had my back, and I did not have to battle alone. His concern was not oply for me though but for my entire family, my wife, my children, and me. I lost a great friend at the same time my best friend that I have ever had, but I did not have to endure that alone either, my church family as well as my family came together and helped me through this. Sometimes we feel alone and need this, but everyday there are brothers and sisters that are going through things and need our help, our kind words, a hug, prayer, or just someone to talk with. Never think that attending church is not important, it may not be what you need that day, but you may be what someone else needs. Have a blessed day.
