23 years ago today God blessed me with a wonderful and handsome baby boy. I knew he would change my life but I had no idea how much. Whether it was teaching him the game of football, explaining how there was only 1 NFL Football Team (Dallas Cowboys), or the night I drove 35 miles at midnight to the airport just because a bright eyes 5 year old wanted to see airplanes and how we parked by the fence and laid on the trunk looking up at the planes landing and taking off till his little eyes got too heavy to keep open. He has brought us so much joy and over the years has taught me what it means to persevere and fight for Gods promise in your life. He has grown into an awesome young man and what makes me most proud is that as great a Athlete he is, it doesnt compare to the Person he is. As big as his arms may seem, they pale in comparison to the size of his heart. Ive watched him over the eyes go from being my baby boy to my best buddy. I truly believe life for me has held and will hold many more treasures and one will definitely be seeing what God has in store for this young man. I salute him on this day. Happy 23rd birthday son....I pray God blesses you with a day that brings you much joy..like youve brought those around you. Njoy your day. Love you son.
