23rd JUNE; 23 REVOLUTIONS By Governor Joel Evans - TopicsExpress

23rd JUNE; 23 REVOLUTIONS By Governor Joel Evans (GJE) Unlike Florence Doghana, who writes what he likes in his “I write what I like,” and of course Gitungo Wamere, who speaks as a politician in his works “I speak as a politician” and not merely a non-partisan bitter comrade, I choose to go against the odds, and write in the spirit of brotherhood, togetherness, oneness; UBUNTU. “Blood Must Flow, One Man One Panga, The Revolution Continues,” amongst others, serve as the most irresponsible statements and incitements ever, if at all they campaign for bloodshed, for we all are for peace, we want peace, we are peace ambassadors, peace only, “peacekende.” Howsoever in our quest for the prevalence of peace, still we must witness a radical surgery in our institution, our union, our residences, our classrooms, our conjugal relationships at all. Worse off than the Unga revolution, IT revolutions ever evidenced in our country, MAIN campus where MAIN things happen, should also join the bandwagon in its discourse of struggling for liberation. And luckily enough, 23rd June marks the on-start date of the most weird stunts for liberation ever pulled and recorded by the union’s gatekeeper, Ronniey Depp. First things first, Kipsaro Arap Boit, your conscience should dictate to you that it is better you restore that little dignity remaining by resigning as opposed to facing the disgusts of a forceful overthrow come 23rd JUNE and beyond. Interestingly, few comrades understand the rule of law that govern our union and as a result, few know that when the Chairman quits office, whether willingly or under pressure, before the end of his tenure, then the Vice Chair, Pacifica Mariita takes over. Pacifica Mariita, once the voice of the voiceless, later mutated to become the voiceless of the voiceful, it is so unfortunate. It thus beats logic if she too fails to be a victim of the well-planned and to be orchestrated 23 revolutions to start on 23rd June and beyond. The accommodation crises is here again with us, just like tsunamis and floods, it also has seasons where it reaches it’s peak then later recedes. Its revolution will start immediately on 24th June, if any comrades would project any complains of sleeping on metallic chairs in Sr 6 and Lt 3 the previous night. Well, we are aware that the university does not guarantee accommodation but even for the little that it guarantees, it should check on complimentary services that come with accommodation, as lighting, washroom sanitations et at. Lest that escalated revolutions as that of “Stage si Moi” and the rest, be witnessed. Conclusively, it is easier said than done. What comrades need is more than pieces of art of the 3rd Eye which just end up on the walls. But again, going silent about the revolution is also the best weapon, for the best revolutions are the ones which started by use of gestures as opposed to open public speeches. When you speak publicly, you alert the oppresssors, and they arm up to retaliate, and the revolution fails terribly. So lay low but be on the alert, be on toes, to be part of the 23 revolutions staged in between the next 3 to 4 months. Until then, I push my case to 23rd June, in the spirit of brotherhood, togetherness, oneness. UBUNTU
