24.03.14 The last song (Nicholas Sparks) The Last Song is my first Nicholas Sparks book. My friend gave it to me, cooing her words, she had never read a Nicholas Sparks’s story despite lots of good review, and to my 1st time reading Nicholas Sparks, she hoped that it can brought me something :)) Dear my sweetie Linh, I have just finished The last song. It is quite pleasant when reading this. (Dễ chịu ấy ạ :3) “Everything connected just right at the end”. Its so predictable “but all in all its really meaningful”. Relationship between father and daughter – son, between sister and brother, between friends and friends, between people in love are portrayed lovely, especially the way theyve patch things up as the story goes along. At that time of my life, I’m quite fond of reading/ touching/ experiencing the stories of common problems of a teenagers life at ‘that’ stage; consequently, feel very happy and lucky to meet Ronnie: rebellious, confused, infuriating but brave and sweet. Before reading, I kept in mind the thought that “Nicholas Sparks’s position in the U.S is like Marc Levy’s position in French”, then felt a little bit upset when finishing :)) However, the exact quote is that: “Có người từng ví vị trí của Nicholas Sparks tại Mỹ cũng giống như vị trí của Marc Levy tại Pháp, con gà đẻ trứng vàng của giới xuất bản.” and my happiness is coming back oh la la :)) P.S: All “…” are comments in Goodreads :x À, tất nhiên là tui dọc bản tiếng Việt thui :)) Cơ mà thấy cái đèn nháy nầy đệp nen tui ưng quá xá :x
