24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST Issued at: 5:00AM 27 September 2013 SYNOPSIS: at 4:00AM today, TD “PAOLO” was estimated at 240 km West of Subic,Zambales (15.1ºN,117.7ºE) with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph and forecast to move West slowly. Meanwhile, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 980 km East of Northern Mindanao (9.5ºN,136.0ºE). FORECAST: The provinces of Mindoro and Northern Palawan will experience cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Bicol region, CALABARZON, rest of MIMAROPA, Eastern Visayas and Eastern Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and coming from the Southwest to South over Central and Southern Luzon. The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Southwest to West with slight to moderate seas.
