25/06/2014 [Conference Citizens for Global Education;Education for Citizenship] First of all, We very appreciate Mr Tobias Troll for inviting us as well as Mr Maarten Frans Julia Coertjens-Magazin for helping us to get Unesco conference. We went to the Conference Citizens for Global Education conference which is in Brussels in Belgium. We attended for participants of the Citizens for Global Education,Education for Global Citizenship,have met on 24-25 June to discuss and,provide a rationale and concrete proposal for the current Millennium Development Development Goals. Actually we were hornor to invited this conference. We were happy to see various disscusion with many experts from Global Education area. Also hornor to see how the proposal decided in UN. After conference,there was another conference by UNESCO.However we did not register before so could not attend.Because it was full booked. DEEEP is a project of the CONCORD DARE Forum and co-funded by the European Union. CONCORD is the European NGO confederation for Relief and Development. Its 27 national associations, 17 international networks and 2 associate members represent 1,800 NGOs that are supported by millions of citizens across Europe. concordeurope.org Again, it was an honour and a pleasure to attended this conference. The United Nation Secretary-General,Ban Ki-moon, has also emphasized the role of education inhelping people to forge more just, peaceful and tolerance societies with the establishment of the Global Education First Initiative. This would build a better future for all.
