25 The Lord is good unto those who wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. 26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord. (Lamentations 3:25, 26) In all of the years that God has blessed me to see, I am certain of one thing: The Lord honors those who place their hope and trust in him. As I have seen my prayers answered and my faith increase, I will always have faith in God as I wait on His promises to be fulfilled in me. I admit, there were times when my faith has been tested, and waiting on the Lord was one of the most difficult things to do. But each time that I endured my own doubts and those of others, God rewarded my faith and perseverance. The Lord is faithful unto those who hope in him. Lift up your head and your heart, and wait on Him. Wait, I say, on the Lord. Father, we thank you for abiding faithfulness in our lives. As we encounter the doubts and fears that attempt to overwhelm us, help us to patiently wait upon you. In Jesus’ name, amen.
