25 years ago today I eloped with the prettiest girl on the planet; beautiful inside and out. Everyone said I married up; that I mustve fooled her somehow. She has stuck with me through thick and thin, and even thinner. She gave me the coolest, funniest, chip-off-the-block kid a guy could ever dream of. Weve had some really hard times, but she prayed me through, and God is making something waaaay cool out of all the trials. I dont know anyone who has a wife, who in middle age, would give up everything to help her husband chase a dream AND continue to serve as a pastors wife after all the suffering weve shared. I love her with all my heart, soul, and spirit, second only to the Lord who saved us both. Shes even trying to get me healthy enough to last another 25 with her.
