25th Jan 2011 ignited what would be classified as the awakening of a people. That awakening as the term means, is merely the start, the process by which an individual / community recognise that the actions of the past need to change. 3rd July 2013 ignited a wave of dedication and commitment to proceed from an awakening stage to a realisation stage. That transformation to realisation is where the real work happens. It includes education, awareness, patience and more importantly solidarity. Since the 3rd of July , that exactly is what has been happening. The last two months since the Coup , the variation and participation of the public has been unprecedented. Not in the main cities alone but across the country. The sacrifice and hard work by peaceful and courageous Egyptians not to give up is becoming viral. Friday after Friday numbers are increasing from all walks of Egyptian life. Day after day symbolic gatherings and protests of education also continue to increase. All this in the background of intense repression (arrests, killings and the closure of free media). This can only indicate one thing, the awakening stage has gone into the implementation phase with the end goal realisation of Freedom and Democracy. This means despite all the negativity that the local media is trying to portray as this being the new reality is only confirmation that change is happening and that the shackles around the necks of Free Egyptians are being removed one piece at a time. Not only are brave young women and men going to the streets, but families and their children. The fabric of Egyptian society is changing, courage and sacrifice are now not terms but a way of life all this under the umbrella of PEACEFUL MOVEMENTS. The question now is not when the people give up, the question is when the people realise their dreams. The train of change has left the station, and each station it passes picks up speed. Do not be fooled by local media, or psychological speeches, these are all tactics to induce pessimism and accept the terms of repression. We are now in implementation phase, part one spread awareness and education, watch out for part two where this transforms into a real public standing.
