26/6/2014. Jay Shri Krishna You have always to leave your projects uncompleted. They never can be completed as you think. The state of completion is your idea, your definition. Nature has nothing to do with it. Nature runs on its own rule. Your project is not a single, isolated project; it is interconnected with so many other projects. And those so many projects are also interconnected with other so many projects and the buck ends with the events of the entire net of universe. So however mighty you may be your projects will never get completed as you think. There is a story of Alexander the Great. When he was leaving Greece to conquer over the world, he saw Diogenes happily lying naked in the sand of the river bed. Alexander feels envy of Diogenes. Diogenes asks him where he is going. Alexander says that he is going to conquer the world. Diogenes again asks what he would do after conquering the whole world! Alexander is perplexed because he never thought of it. There is only one world, and if that conquered, there is no other world to conquer. So he abruptly answers that then he would rest. Diogenes sarcastically laughs. He says if he wants to rest, then there is no necessity to conquer the world. He can join him right now and rest in the sand of river as he was resting. Alexander says that as he has left Athens to conquer the world, so he can’t leave the task unfinished midway. Diogenes says that here everybody has to leave his task unfinished midway only. Here nobody’s task has ever got completed. The history we know that when Alexander was returning from India, he died midway. He could not complete his task. And when he died, he asked his men to keep his hands out of coffins, so that everybody can know that world conqueror Alexander died with empty hands. This is the single incident in human kind, that dead person’s empty hands were kept hanging outside. The entire world saw that Alexander died with the empty hands. Everybody is to die with empty hands. The story bears two eternal truths: one your projects are bound to be left midway, the other you have to leave the world empty handed. The third inevitable dimension is you have to leave the world when the appointment comes. There is an authority other than the man which decides the fate of everybody. Who on earth doesn’t know these facts? Everybody knows. Nothing is new in it. Knowing only is not enough unless you live by it. Shruti(The Vedic Literature) says: चतुरशीतिलक्षयोनिपरिणतम्। (मैत्रायण्युपनिषद)(Chaturshitilakshayoniparinatam-Meitraynyu Upanishad). The person keeps wandering in 84 Lakh Yonis.) You have got this human body after you have gone through 84 Lakhs other lives of insects, birds, and animals. This human body is the only chance to start for the emancipation, liberation from this cycle. If you are planning to take up liberation after completing something, then you missed the flight. If you missed the flight, again millions of years you have to waste. This life, the God has given you intellect, circumstances, and necessary logistics to accomplish the mission. If you heeded not to the arrangements specially made by God for you, then you just betrayed Him. Don’t be over ambitious, be realistic. Your doing anything doesn’t adversely affect your liberation, but your sense of doership does. You are here to play a role in this great world drama. Play your role as an actor, but don’t become a character. The actors playing roles of Ram and Ravan are taking tea together behind the screen, and when the drama is over. They know that they are not Ram or Ravan. They are just playing the characters of Ram and Ravan. Same way this world is a screen. What is manifested by the body is a character. You are not that character. You are the actor. The actor is deep within body. You are that Atman. You play a role of enemy, a friend, a father, a son, a husband, a wife, but you are not them. You are just playing those characters, that is all. Now if Ram wins or is defeated, his wife of Rama is abducted or remained, father is insulted or honoured, son gave respect or insulted, this makes no sense to the actor. You see the Ravan abducts the wife of Ram. When the scene is over and after five minutes Ram offers tea to Ravan. He doesn’t take anything personally. You may think this is not easy. But it is so easy. Actually what I have told here is only happening. But you are not aware of it. If in real life your wife has been abducted by your neighbour, then your efforts can bring as much results as the nature will allow to happen. You may try to make day-night one. You may have satisfaction of doing something. But result will be what the God allows. But your efforts satisfy your ego. And your world is perambulating around your ego satisfaction only. You have no other definition of life except ego satisfaction. So be realistic. Try to understand the greatness of Brahm and nothingness of your being. What you propose, God may dispose. Just relax and enjoy the life with ease. Open your eyes and see that you have always to leave your projects uncompleted. May God bless you.
